Fastsigns’ CEO has been recognised as one of Franchise Dictionary Magazine’s 50 Women of Wonder for 2020.
The award listing was created last year to celebrate inspirational female franchisors who have had a positive influence on their brands, as well as the wider franchise industry. The shortlisted business owners are nominated by their peers, and the winners are featured in Franchise Dictionary Magazine. The October 2020 issue, with this year’s top 50, is available to read at https://franchisedictionarymagazine.com/october2020/.
The Fastsigns CEO, Catherine Monson, who is also chair of the International Franchise Association, has had a profound impact on the franchise’s growth. Since she’s been in the driving seat, the sign franchise has expanded to more than 735 locations across nine countries, and it’s become an industry leader and disruptor.
Catherine thanked her colleagues for their hard work,
"It's an honor to be named a Woman of Wonder, among so many inspiring established and emerging leaders in franchising. I am lucky to work alongside such a strong corporate team and our incredible global network of franchisees. Their dedication to help grow and promote the Fastsigns brand even in the most challenging times is what has allowed us to become the international powerhouse that we are today."
Alesia Visconti, CEO of Franchise Dictionary Magazine, described the growing influence of women in the franchise sector.
"Each year more and more women are making an impact in the franchise industry. They are changing the landscape, implementing new initiatives and bringing groundbreaking ideas to the table. Franchise ownership changes lives and allows people to follow their dreams of business ownership.
“Our '50 Women of Wonder' (WOW) are some of the most amazingly talented, strong and dynamic women franchisors in the franchise industry. We thank them and are thrilled to celebrate their contributions!"
