Energie Fitness sponsored a charity Santa Dash in Milton Keynes that raised money for a worthy cause.
Energie Fitness was one of the generous sponsors that made a Milton Keynes Santa Dash possible earlier this month.
The event, which was hosted in Willen, Milton Keynes, saw the local community come together to raise money for Willen Hospice. The hospice provides vital palliative and end of life care for those with terminal illnesses, but it relies heavily on the generosity of the public to fund its services, meaning events like the Santa dash are incredibly important to allow the hospice to stay open.
Sponsor Energie Fitness attended the event and handed out free day passes to all of the dedicated Santas who were dashing around the course, giving them a place to train for their next charity event. The 1.2-mile course was walked, jogged and sprinted by the participants, which ranged from children to the elderly and even included some four-legged companions. And every runner who paid the £15 registration fee completed the route knowing they were helping Willen Hospice continue its vital work.
Sarah Sweet Rowley, head of events and community fundraising at Willen Hospice thanked the local businesses, including Energie Fitness, for their support.
