Former office manager of Driver Hire’s Wakefield franchise, Sarah Parker, has bought the transport and logistics recruitment business.
With 15 years of recruitment experience under her belt, Sarah Parker worked as a branch manager for the previous owners of Driver Hire Wakefield for some time. But when they shared their plans to sell the business, the ambitious entrepreneur jumped at the opportunity to become the new owner.
“I love working for Driver Hire and have wanted to buy the business for some time.”
Sarah knew how much the brand was thriving and couldn’t wait to take her career to the next level.
“I know how to run it; I know how successful it is. When the previous owners announced they were selling, it was a great opportunity and I didn’t want to miss it. I’m really excited.”
It wasn’t just Sarah that was thrilled to be taking on the new role. Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director, added:
