Driver Hire’s marketing team’s reaches the finals of the 2018 ‘Franchise Marketing Awards’.

Celebrations are in order for Driver Hire’s in-house marketing team as it receives its nomination for the ‘Best Franchisee Marketing Support’ category. Richard Owen-Hughes, Driver Hire’s Group Marketing Director said the nomination was “a real honour. We’re very proud of the ongoing stream of innovative and effective marketing services we provide to our franchisees. We know from their feedback that they value what we do. Good marketing is a vital ingredient for success at Driver Hire. That’s reflected in our trading figures with our network as a whole currently on course for another record trading year – our sixth in succession.”

Now in its 13th year, the Franchise Marketing Awards brings its panel of experts including Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchise Association and Tony Massey, UK Deputy Head of Franchising for HSBC, on the search for innovative marketing campaigns. The awards are open to all franchisors that operate an ethical franchise and can demonstrate marketing excellence.

With the winners to be announced at The National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on Friday 5th October 2018, the Driver Hire marketing team has its sights firmly set on this highly-coveted accolade.

Franchising for over 35 years after opening its first office in West Yorkshire in 1983, the business franchise has grown significantly to become one of the UK’s largest specialist supplier of temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to local and national organisations. If Driver Hire wins the Franchise Marketing Award, it will sit against many of its other accolades won by staff including ‘Agency Driver of the Year’ and even a ‘One in a Million’ award for the UK’s top temp. Each one of these awards demonstrates Driver Hire’s commitment to quality and service.
