Driver Hire has announced its recent collaboration with Team Knowhow, the national ‘expert services’ provider.

The National Accounts team at Driver Hire worked to secure the national deal with Team Knowhow, an ‘expert services’ provider that offers in-store and online helpdesks for customers at Currys PC World, Carphone Warehouse and Dixons travel. Team Knowhow vehicles are a common sight on the roads, as they transport and deliver electrical and white goods up and down the UK.

Driver Hire, which supplies temporary and permanent drivers to businesses in the transport and logistics industries, will be working with Team Knowhow to provide truck and van drivers and porters across Team Knowhow’s 21 UK depots.

Sarah Brennan, the National Accounts Manager for the business franchise, Driver Hire, explained the alliance: “[Team Knowhow was] impressed with Driver Hire’s rigorous vetting processes, operating systems and specialism within the transport and logistics sector.”

Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Manager, Graham Duckworth, praised this achievement by the National Accounts division: “Driver Hire’s ten-person National Accounts team opens doors for our franchisees with major national players. Around 20 percent of Driver Hire’s network turnover is derived from National Accounts business.”

He continued, “National brands who work with us are, generally, looking for a supplier that offers countrywide coverage, online bookings and a single point of contact. We clearly tick all the boxes.”

Martin Littlemore, Supplier Compliance Manager at Team Knowhow, described the significance of the business partnership for the brand: “Delivering products to our customers’ homes and providing them with additional support and services is central to our mission of helping our customers enjoy amazing technology. We’re really pleased to have this new national agreement with Driver Hire which provides us with a compliant and reliable key supplier of agency workers to a critical part of our operation. We’re looking forward to working together.”
