Driver Hire Stoke-on-Trent has been purchased by a recruitment veteran with more than a decade’s experience in the industry.

Driver Hire has welcomed experienced recruiter Paul Crossley to its network, as he has just purchased the franchise resale at Stoke-on-Trent and has revealed that he’s got big plans for the business in the coming years.

Having spent more than 10 years in the recruitment industry, Crossley has the ideal background to take the business franchise’s Stoke-on-Trent location on to an even more successful future. Crossley’s most recent role was as a client relationship manager at a specialist company providing payroll and accountancy services to recruitment businesses across the country.

However, he revealed that the opportunity to purchase the Driver Hire location gave him the chance to realise a lifelong dream much sooner than expected.

"Working for myself has always been a long-term plan. But it’s actually come to fruition a bit earlier than I’d expected,” revealed Crossley.

“The idea of a buying a Driver Hire franchise came to me when I was on my honeymoon last year. I discussed the idea with Nina, my wife, and she agreed that it sounded like a good investment. I think the Stoke postcode area offers some great business opportunities. I’ve bought the franchise with a view to growing it and, as my own boss, benefiting directly from its success."

Driver Hire’s franchise sales director, Graham Duckworth, offered his congratulations on behalf of the franchise to Crossley.

"Paul’s background in a recruitment-related business has given him the perfect combination of skills for running a successful Driver Hire franchise. We wish him well."

Driver Hire is the UK’s leading driver and logistics staff supplier to businesses across the UK. It has been recognised many times for the strength of its business model, making the finals of the BFA-HSBC Franchise Awards an incredible 13 times in the last 14 years.
