Coffee Blue is offering eco-friendly cups at all of its mobile units across the country to help combat the impact of disposable cups.

Most of us are becoming more conscious of our impact on the planet, whether that means reducing our plastic use, eating less meat or trying to remember our bags for life on trips to the supermarket.

Now, Coffee Blue is getting on board with this movement, as it has introduced eco-friendly cups across every single one of its mobile coffee vans. The 100 percent biodegradable takeaway cups still come in the signature blue shade that the coffee van franchise is known for, but they’re now able to go to landfill without hanging around for the estimated 30 years that it takes for non-biodegradable cups to break down.

Coffee Blue’s franchise opportunity is ideal for those conscious about their environmental impact, as its vans boast the lowest carbon footprint of any mobile coffee van company currently on the road. Territories are also mapped out to limit how far each franchisee needs to travel between their stops and some of its franchisees even hand out their leftover food to local homeless shelters to help those in need.

  • 65 percent lower energy use when being manufactured

What’s more, Coffee Blue is also encouraging its customers to bring along their own mugs with a 10 percent discount on all drinks served in reusable cups.
