The Awards, created by Which Franchise, were created to recognise the success of franchisees based on a number of crucial factors.
Cambridge ChipsAway franchisee Andy Darby was honoured as a winner by Which Franchise based on a full assessment of all the factors, which were as follows: Franchisee stability, business experience, business growth, customer satisfaction, community involvement, inspired leadership and franchise involvement.
Chips Away recognised Andy as a hugely deserving winner. Andy started his journey with the van based franchise as a single mobile operation, and over the years, his operation became multi-unit. Now, his segment of the franchise has expanded so extensively that he has a fixed base workshop. In the words of ChipsAway Marketing Manager Rebecca de Chair, “We were delighted to receive the news that Andy was named as one of the first Great British Franchisee Awards winners. Andy is a very worthy winner and a credit to the ChipsAway network.”
She went on to praise his supportive, hard-working nature, and his work as a business mentor for ChipsAway, expressing that, “His involvement in the network as a business mentor is outstanding. When a member of the network needs support, he is always there on the other end of the phone.”
Andy was equally thrilled with his win, and said, “I am absolutely delighted to receive the award and must give credit to the superb team I have working with me. They are without a doubt the best in the business [and they] have given many years of loyal, hardworking service for which I am truly grateful.”
