Century 21 has taken a step forward by collaborating with real estate technology firm Immobel.

The two companies joined forces to create the Century 21 Global Referral Network, which should make processes smoother for those doing business with the estate agent and property franchise. It was designed to connect Century 21’s network of 11,500 offices and over 130,000 affiliated estate agents.

According to the franchise, the new technology will “bring speed and security to client relationships and agent referrals, and a more seamless method for closing continent-to-continent and country-to-country deals”.

Among other benefits, the improvements will also allow customers and clients to view property descriptions in their native language and rental and selling prices in their own currencies. While this should help customers and colleagues across the world, it’s currently offered in Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Russia and the US.

Michael Miedler, Century 21’s President and CEO explained:

“This collaboration with Immobel is another milestone in an almost 50-year history of Century 21 Real Estate as a brand consistently remaining relevant with consumers and industry professionals alike.

“We believe that delivering a globally-focused, continent-to-continent and country-to-country e-commerce integrated service and referral platform will significantly improve the value proposition for our Century 21 System members, but more importantly, help them better serve the clients and customers they connect with each day.”

Century 21 is one of the largest residential estate agencies in the world. It has an extensive network of around 8,000 offices and 111,000 sales professionals across 81 countries. As a thriving franchise, it’s looking for savvy investors to set up sites in even more territories.

This will cost around £100,000, and you’ll get the chance to work under a tried and tested business model. In return for your investment, you’ll benefit from the equivalent of 1,500 days of training to make sure you’ve got all the tools you need to launch a profitable business.
