Cafe2U is celebrating being listed in the Elite Franchise 100 ranking of the best businesses for 2021.
The franchise has been recognised as the leading mobile coffee business in the UK. Elite Franchise’s ranking, which was published in December 2020, aims to highlight the UK’s “brightest” franchises, based on “size, growth, ambitions and contributions made to franchisees and the community”.
Cafe2U puts its success down to its focus on supporting its business partners, as well as the hard work of its franchisees. Every day, the coffee van franchise serves thousands of customers across the UK, in a range of ‘non-traditional’ locations, from office parks and industrial estates to community and sporting events.
Now, the franchise is one of the biggest premium coffee brands and the largest mobile cafe van company in the UK. But it’s not stopping there - in 2021, it will celebrate the launch of its 100th coffee van and is on the lookout for new investors to grow the business further.
In an article accompanying the Elite Franchise 100 ranking, Cafe2U explained its strategies:
“Ethical franchising remains a priority in the business, which can be seen through the work we do with the Project Waterfall and Macmillan charities every year. Our coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified and we are introducing fully recyclable cups into our franchise group.”
Cafe2U also provided some insight into its goals for the coming years.
“By the start of 2023 we want our network to have over 200 vans, with daily sales per franchisee in excess of £450, while retaining our position as the leading mobile coffee franchise globally.”
