Bright & Beautiful has teamed up with a local recycling company to help its customers get rid of waste in an eco-friendly way.
We all know we should be doing our bit to keep the planet clean and minimize how much pollution we’re causing, but it can be trickier than it seems on paper. That’s why cleaning franchise Bright & Beautiful Rossendale, Lancashire has teamed up with local recycling company Helmshore Recycling to help its customers dispose of their waste without sending it all to landfill.
All customers need to do is leave their recyclable waste with their housekeeper during one of Bright & Beautiful’s routine cleans, including items that wouldn’t normally be taken during a regular recycling collection like crisp packets and plastic toothbrushes. Those in the local area can also drop their waste into the laundry and ironing shop, where the franchise tackles its clients’ laundry and dry-cleaning services, at 88A Bank Street, for collection by Helmshore Recycling.
Nicola Bailey, franchisee from Bright & Beautiful Rossendale, explained why she decided to launch the new service for customers in her area.
“As an environmentally friendly company, we pride ourselves on our commitment to decrease our environmental impact by reducing plastic usage and waste. Our collaboration with Helmshore Recycling has opened our eyes to the potential for waste and knowing what can be recycled."
Helmshore Recycling is run by mother and daughter team Samantha and Caitlin Woodend and the pair said:
”We’re seeing increasing growth in the number of people that are using our services and know that, with the assistance of Bright & Beautiful, we’ll not only be able to prevent more recyclable items from entering landfill but will also be able to raise more money for our chosen charities.”
