B2B membership platform Bartercard is delighted to launch its new franchise unit, Bartercard Scotland.

Bartercard is a trading platform where businesses can buy and sell goods or services as part of a global network without the use of cash.

After using Bartercard’s services in Australia for almost a decade and seeing with their own eyes how much it can benefit a business, the new franchisees jumped at the chance to acquire Bartercard Scotland.

The co-franchise owners and directors, Brian Smillie Snr and Ian Russell said the decision “was an absolute no brainer” and that they are “delighted to be bringing the Bartercard programme to Scotland and looking forward to working with the Bartercard family”.

Let’s find out more about the two proud franchise owners:

Brian Smillie (Snr) is an accomplished CEO with impressive knowledge and extensive experience gained from a career spanning over 30 years. During this time, he worked in various demanding and challenging industries within both public and private sectors.

Ian Russell has over 35 years of experience as a CFO, CEO and Senior Advisor in multiple organisations. His areas of expertise include International Real Estate, UK Real Estate Investment and Fund Management.

The Bartercard franchise has a unique franchise model that can provide significant returns on your investment that surpasses most franchise concepts.

When you become a franchisee, you will take part in a one-week intensive training course and benefit from ongoing support. This includes regional monthly training and group reward and recognition sessions.
