Bert Bigaignon shares the secrets to his success with van-based franchise Agency Express.
After setting his sights on a new entrepreneurial challenge, Bert Bigaignon decided to leave his 15-year career in the fitness equipment sector and launch an Agency Express van-based franchise.
By searching on a range of specialist websites, Bert determined the franchise model had so much to offer and was the best career move for him. He then matched his personal skillset and experience to the Agency Express franchise opportunity and jumped on the chance to invest in his desired area. Bert commented:

After attending the intensive five-day training course at the Agency Express Head Office, Bert continued to receive guidance and support long into his franchising journey. This included a three-day programme of visits to estate agencies in his area so he could make successful connections with customers.
“I found the Agency Express training program well-structured and the hand-over from the existing franchisee was very helpful. He assisted me in completing instructions in the first week and was always at the end of the phone if I needed help for several weeks later.”
Bert’s busy and highly successful first year can be attributed to his approachable manner, professionalism and exceptional standard of work.
Like many new entrepreneurs, Bert was a little apprehensive at the first:
“It was scary at the start because running a business was completely new to me, although some of my experiences helped. Working for myself and having a better work life balance has been one of the biggest rewards so far.”
