Tim and Lindsay Brown founded the construction franchise in 2005 after moving to Devon from London. It’s grown quickly over the years, and now it has come to Point Franchise to find fresh new franchisees to take the business to new territories.
Access4Lofts installs high-quality ladders to improve access to attics and help homeowners use their space more effectively. Franchisees are each given a territory of at least 150,000 households and customers pay once the job is completed.
If you join Access4Lofts, you can choose one of two different business models: the Owner-Operator and the Management Business. As an Owner-Operator, you would carry out the manual work yourself, finishing one job a day and four jobs a week, spending the fifth day developing the franchise unit. This model has the potential to generate £120,000 with over 50 percent profit after two years.
The Management Business model is slightly more lucrative, as you’ll employ two staff members. While they complete the installations, you develop the business, making £300,000 in sales and a 40 percent net profit. The structure you choose depends on your ambition for your future and whether you’d prefer a hands-on job or thrive in a managerial role.
To get involved, you’ll need to invest £29,950 initially and attend the franchise’s five-day training scheme in the West Midlands. Here, you’ll be able to learn how to fit Access4Loft’s full range of ladders, hatches and boarding in the 2,000 square foot facility.
