Ableworld, a leading mobility equipment retailer, has decided to give its customers more with a new magazine that they can pick up from one of its 34 stores around the UK or download online.
Named independence, the magazine includes a range of articles covering topics that its customers will find useful and interesting. From tips to staying safe online and how to plan for retirement to book reviews and ways to stay fit and healthy, they can enjoy insights on subjects that are likely to affect them. It’s a free magazine, and Ableworld wants to spread the word that customers are welcome to come and collect theirs. If they want to read it online, they can simply follow the link on Ableworld’s website and click through the pages to read it in full.
The magazine will be released each quarter, and this quarter’s copies have already been printed. Ableworld marketing manager, Michelle Mossford, who has overseen the launch of the magazine, said, “unlike many other company newsletters and magazines, independence is about our customers and potential customers, not ourselves”. This innovative approach will help Ableworld to connect with its customers and build trust.
Ableworld is also encouraging other companies and charities to get in touch to share stories that they think its customers will enjoy, creating more opportunities for collaboration.
Mossford continues on this, “we are keen to work with our suppliers to give them and their products exposure in the magazine. In the first issue we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of our suppliers and running a competition in conjunction with another”.
Ableworld already has a blog space on its website and this magazine is building on the success of the features.
